Modified bitumen is a type of asphalt made against permanent deformation, thermal cracking, and deterioration such as separation of aggregate from the binder. In Turkey, its usage area has been expanded especially in recent years. Now it has been used in projects by adding contract terms.

Modified Bitumen (PMB) Plant is the ideal solution for all road projects due to its high mill performance, compact design, ease of use, and economical features. With its high production capacity, it fully meets the needs of applications such as highway, railway, and airport projects in all areas where modified bitumen is used. Polymer modification is necessary to increase the performance of the bitumen used on roads, planes, and racetracks to increase product life and reduce maintenance costs. For high-quality PMB, there are 4 important aspects that should be taken into consideration. These are; bitumen quality, mill performance (using a powerful and fine mill is important), polymer suitability, and resting the final product in tanks by mixing it. The plant is specially designed to be able to modify bitumen up to 8-20 t / h with the polymer.

The "E-MAK PMB" series modified bitumen production facilities have a capacity of 15 tons/hour and they grind the polymer (SBS, APP, etc.) and bitumen into homogeneity. All equipment used in the "E-MAK PMB" series modified bitumen production plants have been selected to provide durability and high efficiency. It is environmentally and budget-friendly.

Besides the easy transportation which its special design provides, “E-MAK PMB” is easy to install and maintain.
It is resistant to 220 ° C and has a pumping capacity of 20t / h. It has a 160 kW Polymer Modified Mill.

Easy Transportation and Durable Components with E-MAK PMB

Insulated with 100 mm rock wool, it is manufactured to contain a container. It has a 10 m³ (working capacity 6m³) vertical mixing tank with a hot oil serpentine pipe heating, a 22 kW mixer.

Horizontal type, 10m³ volume, 400 lt internal serpentine tube, hot oil heated (28m²), insulated with 100 mm rock wool, manufactured to contain the container. Their upper surface is made of a 3-4 mm diamond sheet.

There are 4 stainless steel heating tanks with load-cell connection with a capacity of 5000 kg.

  • Bitumen pump with 50 t / h capacity, 15 kW.
  • Polymer Modified Granule (SBS) feeding unit with 500 x 500 mouth opening, 2m³ load cell weighing chamber, 30m³ / h capacity spiral.
  • Hot oil jacketed bitumen valves and filters.
  • Double Control System: Semi-Automatic - PLC controlled fully automatic.
  • All valves used in the system during all operations can be controlled from the operator panel through pneumatic actuators.
  • Mixer tanks; temperature is monitored digitally and manually, weight is monitored digitally by load cells and mill temperature is monitored digitally.
  • Easy transportation and installation to the desired location thanks to the electrically heated system.
  • Universal design: there are piping inlets and spiral connection points on both sides of the plant. In this way, it is not a problem to have bitumen tanks on the right or left of the facility.
  • It can be shipped with 1 container.
